### Can I start without technical experience?

Yes. Describe the business and desired customer experience in plain language. Runner may ask follow-up questions before it starts work. See [Write effective requests](../work-with-runner/write-effective-requests).

### Should I build a new store or connect Shopify?

Choose **Build new** when Runner should create the store project and its commerce setup. Choose **Connect Shopify** when Shopify should remain the connected store system and checkout path. See [Create a Runner store](../start-here/create-runner-store) and [Connect Shopify](../start-here/connect-shopify).

### Does a completed Runner task mean my store is live?

No. Task completion, preview success, publication, live storefront, catalog, and checkout are separate results. Verify each relevant layer.

### What is the difference between Publish and Republish?

**Publish** creates the first live version after requirements are complete. **Republish** sends newer draft changes to a store that already has a live version. See [Publish and republish](../storefront-and-publishing/publish-and-republish).

### Why is a button disabled?

Required input, permission, plan access, store state, data, or a connection may be missing. Read nearby text and see [States and availability](./states-and-availability).

### Why is a navigation entry missing?

Some features are conditional or staged. Confirm the workspace, store, role, plan, publication, and connections. See [Feature availability](../advanced/feature-availability).

### Where do I manage products and orders?

Open the store project, select **Store Operations**, then choose **Products** or **Orders**. See [Store Operations](../store-operations).

### Where do I connect payments, email, or shipping?

Open the project and select **Apps**. Choose the provider and follow its official connection flow. See [Apps and integrations](../apps-and-integrations).

### How do I undo a storefront change?

First send a focused correction or use [Version history](../storefront-and-publishing/version-history). Restoring a version changes project state, so review the selected version before confirming.

### Why are Analytics or SEO empty?

The selected store, date range, publication, or event collection may not yet have data. An empty state is different from a loading or error state. See [Analytics and SEO](../analytics-and-seo).

### Where do I see credits and usage?

Open workspace settings and select the usage or billing destination available to your role. See [Credits and usage](../plans-and-billing/credits-and-usage).
