Runner's public templates page lets you inspect published templates before signing in and, when remixing is available, request a copy in your own workspace.

## Entry path

Open Runner's public **Templates** page at [www.runnerai.com/templates](https://www.runnerai.com/templates), or follow a Runner template link. No account is required to browse the gallery or open a template.

## Before you start

- You need a Runner account and an active workspace if remixing becomes available.
- A live preview, screenshot, and remix are different: previewing is read-only; only a successful remix creates project work.
- The available templates, descriptions, and remix counts can change.

## Browse the gallery

Use the category filter to narrow the gallery, including templates in **3D Animation**. Each card shows the template title, thumbnail when available, and a short description. Select a card to open its detail page. If the page says **No templates yet**, no public template is available at that moment; return later instead of treating it as an account problem.

## Review a template

| Control or section | What happens after you select it |
| --- | --- |
| **Desktop** | Opens the live template preview in a desktop-shaped frame. It does not edit the template. |
| **Mobile** | Shows the same live preview in a narrow phone-shaped frame. |
| **Screenshot** | Shows the saved full-page image when one is available. It is a static image, not the live store. |
| **About this template** | Explains the template's purpose. |
| **Designed for** | Lists the audiences or store types the template targets. |
| **Highlights and capabilities** | Summarizes the main ideas demonstrated by the template. |
| Remix count | Shows how many copies Runner has recorded. It does not measure live stores or sales. |
| **Back to gallery** | Returns to the public template list. |

If a live preview is unavailable, use **Screenshot** when the template has one. A missing screenshot or preview does not stop you from reading the template details.

## Remix the template

1. Review the template in **Desktop**, **Mobile**, and **Screenshot** as available.
2. Select **Remix this store** only when you want Runner to create a project from it.
3. If you are signed out, complete the sign-in flow. Runner keeps the selected template for the remix path.
4. After sign-in, if setup did not start automatically, return to the template detail and select **Remix this store** again. Then wait while the button shows **Setting up your store…**.
5. The copy succeeds when Runner opens a new project in your workspace. If Runner shows a failure message, no project was created.
6. Review the copied storefront, products, settings, and publication state before making it live.

A successful remix becomes your own project; changing it does not alter the public template. It is a starting point, not proof that payments, shipping, catalog data, publication, or checkout are ready.

## Troubleshooting

| State | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| **Preview unavailable** | Switch to **Screenshot** or read the template details. |
| **No screenshot is available for this template** | Use **Desktop** or **Mobile** if the live preview works. |
| Sign-in opens after **Remix this store** | Finish sign-in with the account that owns the intended workspace. If setup does not start, return to the template and select **Remix this store** again. |
| **Setting up your store…** | Keep the page open while Runner creates the project. Do not start the same remix again. |
| **Failed to remix this store. Please try again.** | The template was not copied. The current rollout can keep remix unavailable, so do not repeat the same attempt; browse the template or create a new Runner store instead. |
| Template not found | Return to the gallery; the template may no longer be published. |
