I Run a Dropshipping Store. Here's Why I'm Moving It to Runner AI.

I run a dropshipping store called Soluveil. It's currently on Shopify, and honestly, it works fine. But "fine" isn't really what I'm after.

Every day looks roughly the same. I wake up, prepare creatives for my products, hop into Meta Ads Manager to check how my campaigns are performing, stare at the numbers for a while, and then decide what to do next. Tweak a budget here, pause an ad there, maybe test a new angle. Rinse and repeat. See how the Ecommerce Automation handles this at scale.

After doing this long enough, you start to notice just how many of these tasks are... mundane. Repetitive. The kind of stuff that feels like it should be automated by now. And yet, most e-commerce platforms treat you like you should be grateful for a nice dashboard and a Zapier integration.

I wanted something different. I wanted a platform that could actually do things for me — not just display data and wait for me to click buttons. Dropshipping on Runner AI

Until recently, Runner AI didn't support dropshipping. I helped build this feature, and now it's live.

We currently support CJ Dropshipping as our first provider, with more coming soon. And there are two ways to use it, depending on how hands-on you want to be.

Option 1: Bring Your Own CJ Account

This is the route we'd recommend if you're serious about dropshipping. Here's how it works:

Set up your CJ account

1. Create an account on CJ Dropshipping.
2. Go to the CJ App Store and install the API app.

3. Head to the API Key page and copy your key.

4. In Runner AI, go to Settings > Integrations and paste your CJ API key under CJ Dropshipping.

Start selling

• Go to the Dropshipping page in your store and import any products you like.
• Set your retail prices and publish them to your storefront.
• When a customer buys something, head over to your CJ dashboard to submit the payment.
• CJ takes care of all the logistics — warehousing, packaging, shipping.
• You can track shipping status right from your admin panel.
• And if you want extra help, CJ offers a personal agent service to assist with sourcing, quality checks, and more.

What does it cost? Just the regular Runner AI transaction fee on each sale — 3.5% on the Beginner plan, 1.5% on Runner. We don't charge any additional fees for dropshipping. That's it.

Option 2: No CJ Account Needed

Don't want to deal with setting up a CJ account? You don't have to.

• Just import products directly from our dropshipping catalog.
• When you make a sale, we send the order to the suppliers on CJ automatically.
• You can track the status of every order right from the Runner AI admin page.
• We handle the payment to suppliers, the logistics, everything.

What does it cost? We charge the wholesale price + shipping cost + a 10% transaction fee per sale. And here's the important part: we only charge you when you actually make a sale. No upfront costs, no monthly fees for the dropshipping feature itself.

This sounds pretty convenient, right?

So Why Would You Want Your Own CJ Account?

Fair question. Two main reasons:

1. Skip the 10% fee. With your own CJ account, you only pay the standard Runner AI transaction fee (3.5% or 1.5% depending on your plan). That difference adds up fast.
2. Access the full CJ experience. CJ offers services beyond basic fulfillment — personal sourcing agents, product photography, custom packaging, and more. With your own account, all of that is available to you directly.

What's Next

This is just the beginning. We're working on adding more dropshipping providers beyond CJ, and there are a lot of automation features in the pipeline to make the entire experience smoother — from product research to ad creation to order management.
