Skill validation happens before saving. Imports may reject individual files; check the imported file list before assuming the skill is complete.
- Fill in the name, description, and content. Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens in the name, and choose a distinct name if another draft already uses it.
- Use a relative file path with forward slashes. Do not start with a slash or include dot or double-dot path segments; avoid duplicate file paths.
- For size errors, remove or reduce the files identified by the message before saving. Review any files excluded by import.
- For a read failure, select the file again. Keep a copy of unsaved edits before retrying a save.
- For import failures, read the individual failure text, correct it, and retry only the missing imports.
Check: The draft or skill reopens with the intended content and files, and any intended skill setting remains saved.
