Preview build failed or interrupted

Your preview didn't build.

Exact messages

  • Your preview didn’t build.

  • Your store preview can’t load.

  • The build got cut off — retry.

  • Couldn’t start the rebuild — try again in a moment.

Meaning: A failed build prevents the generated preview from becoming usable. An interrupted build or a rebuild-start error can be a workspace/service problem rather than a code defect.

If the build was cut off, use the rebuild/retry control once and wait for its final result. “Rebuild started” is not a successful build. If code error details are shown, choose the fix action or paste those details into Runner with the affected page and expected behavior. In Version History, the fix action prepares a message: review and send it to start the repair. Do not repeatedly rebuild unchanged code after the same compiler error.

Success: The build finishes successfully and the affected preview page works. Escalate repeated interruptions or identical errors after a completed repair with the visible build excerpt.
