Changelog

Read Runner product releases, filter update types, and clear the unread indicator.

The Changelog keeps product releases in one place so you can see what changed without leaving Runner.

What this covers

You will open recent updates, filter them by type, understand the unread marker, and return to the correct store or workspace.

Availability and prerequisites

  • You must be signed in to a workspace or project.
  • The unread dot appears only when Runner has an update you have not opened.
  • A filter changes only the releases shown on this page; it does not change any product feature.

Entry paths

Entry What happens after you select it
Workspace sidebar → Changelog Opens all available product updates inside the current workspace.
Desktop project avatar → Changelog Opens the same Changelog while keeping the current project as the return destination.
Mobile project avatar → Changelog Opens the Changelog from the Profile & Settings sheet.
Collapsed workspace sidebar → Changelog icon preview → View all Opens the full Changelog after previewing the latest release.

Opening the full Changelog clears the unread dot. This marks the updates as seen; it does not run or enable the features described in a release.

Filter releases

Control What happens after you select it
All Shows every available release.
Feature Shows releases categorized as new features.
Improvement Shows releases categorized as improvements.
Fix Shows releases categorized as fixes.
Release card Shows that release’s title, date, type, description, and available media.
Back to Store Returns to the current project when the Changelog was opened there; otherwise it returns to the workspace store list.

On mobile inside a project, the project shell provides the back control, so the page-level Back to Store action can be hidden.

Review an update

  1. Open Changelog from the workspace sidebar or avatar menu.
  2. Start with All to see releases in date order.
  3. Select Feature, Improvement, or Fix when you need one kind of change.
  4. Read the release title, date, description, and any included media.
  5. Use the back control to return to the store or workspace you came from.

Troubleshooting

State Meaning and next step
Red unread dot A newer update has not been opened. Open Changelog to clear it.
Today The release date matches the current day.
No item under a filter No available release has that category. Return to All.
Latest-release preview Pausing over the collapsed desktop icon can show the newest update. Select View all for the full history.
Back returns to a different scope Reopen the intended workspace or project, then open Changelog from there so Runner has the correct return context.
